Hi I’m Doug Wilson I’m running as a candidate for the Buffalo party in the Cypress Hills constituency. I’m a fourth generation rancher on the Maple Creek in the great Sandhills area. My family has been in this area for over a hundred years.
  After raising my children in the area I’ve seen many problems created by the centralization of our public resources. If elected I will create advisory committees made up of local residents to advise how best to move forward from a local level on our healthcare, education, roads and water infrastructure and create a polling system to get feedback from the local people and lobby that forward .
 I’m also very supportive of our agriculture and oil and gas industry in the south west that create so many of the jobs and spin off jobs in our area . I also believe that by using new and emerging technology we can also bring back good public services jobs to our rural communities as I believe that the local people will make better decisions about the area. The central decisions that have been made are not in our best interests.
   As a Buffalo party candidate i will put Cypress hills first in my representation of our area. I encourage everyone to go to the Buffalo party website and have a look at the policies as I believe bring the power of politics back to the people can help us move forward.
