Dale Richardson - Battlefords

Dale Richardson The Battlefords

An unconventional candidate.

I am a father of two daughters Kaysha Richardson 27, and Karis Richardson 5. Kaysha and I moved to Saskatchewan in 2013, and Karis was born in Saskatoon in 2019 and has resided in the Battlefords since then. I am a family-oriented man and raised my oldest daughter as a single father after having a lengthy legal battle with child and family services as a young father in Winnipeg after Kaysha was removed from my care without lawful cause. I had to fight the government for three and a half years and had Kaysha returned to my care after she became a permanent ward of the provincial crown in Manitoba. I am no stranger to governmental overreach and have extensive experience in this regard long before COVID-19 happened, as a young man I demonstrated great tenacity and determination in the face of adversity which I found would serve me well later in life.

I am a Mechanical Engineering Technologist with a Bachelor of Technology Majoring in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and his MET diploma I earned at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2019. Before entering Mechanical Engineering Technology, I spent approximately 13 years working as a heavy-duty mechanic in Alberta and Saskatchewan. I worked in mining before founding DSR Karis Consulting Inc. On April 1st, 2020, in North Battleford Saskatchewan. My business plan was centred on keeping churches, not for profits and other businesses open during the lockdowns in early 2020 after uncovering the improper contagion mitigation for the COVID-19 pandemic would spread disease rather than mitigate it. I published my findings under the title “COVID-19 and negligent engineering practices Will this Kill People?”.

In early 2020 I faced severe push back from government for exposing the faulty engineering controls that would have shut down the entire pandemic response in July of 2020 when I made criminal complaints to the Battlefords RCMP on July 3rd of that year. As a result of whistleblowing that acted in the best interests of my family and the people of Saskatchewan, My family was torn apart in a far worse manner than what happened almost 20 years earlier in 1997 with my oldest daughter Kaysha. As a result, Kaysha started The Karis Project which includes a podcast and other humanitarian work because of what was done to our family. Kaysha and I work together on The Karis Project initiative with me in Canada and Kaysha in the United States. Kaysha is a citizen of the Metis nation of Saskatchewan, and I support her efforts that are working to improve the conditions within the First Nations/Metis community in Saskatchewan and abroad. I believe in equality of all people under the law.

I chose to run for the Buffalo Party because of their commitment to supporting Saskatchewan families that have been ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic response in so many ways. My background in the engineering sciences, Heavy Duty mechanics, and systems analysis gives me great insight that will collaborate well with the Buffalo Party’s goals of increasing energy production in the province of Saskatchewan, manufacturing, and other industry back to the province of Saskatchewan.

My background and pioneering research in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) infection controls relative to the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic gives me and the Buffalo Party a unique perspective into ensuring that the rural hospitals have effective infection controls that can be provided in a manner that can potentially extend the life of HVAC systems, increase efficiency and lower operating costs using existing technology.

I am a candidate that is a Christian and I value life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and I believe that the government is there to preserve our rights and that Canada and the province of Saskatchewan were founded upon principles that acknowledge the supremacy of God and the rule of law, which is articulated in the preamble of the Charter. The rule of law is outlined in Article VI section 92(14) of the Constitution Act 1867 where the administration of justice is under the exclusive control of the legislative assemblies of each province, with the judges in the Superior courts being appointed by the provinces. Saskatchewan needs policing that is answerable to Saskatchewan and under the current model of contracting the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to the province of Saskatchewan leaves the discipline of the RCMP in the hands of Ottawa and not Saskatchewan and based on part VII section 52(1) of the constitution act 1982 the supremacy clause dictates that the RCMP act is of no force because Saskatchewan does not have exclusive control of the law enforcement. The Buffalo Party’s policy to bring in provincial policing that is answerable to the people of Saskatchewan is in harmony with the Canadian constitution. I served a petition for redress of grievances outlining the constitutional violations of the contracting the RCMP and I am committed to bring that petition to the legislative assembly with the Buffalo Party to ensure that Saskatchewan has policing that are under the exclusive control of the province of Saskatchewan; and have a public inquiry in the legislative assembly to deal with the issues.

Lastly but most importantly is the support for the parents’ rights to educate their children as they choose based on their faith. Religious liberty is the foundation of Canada and Saskatchewan along with civil liberty and they are inexorably tied together. Freedom of expression is paramount to both civil and religious liberty and this must be preserved to have a properly functioning society. Without parental rights guaranteed, no child will have liberty because there is no party that has a more vested interest into a child’s future than loving parents. I will uphold the child’s rights to life and liberty and protect parental rights. I will defend civil and religious rights in the province of Saskatchewan for any parent to educate their children according to the dictates of their consciences. The rights of children have long been neglected and this is an area that must change. More efforts must be made to support children, families and protect life. Responsible policies must be put in place to support families and not destroy them. These are some of the things that I am committed to do if elected in the Battlefords.
