Dave Waldner: Melfort

Email: [email protected]

Dave was raised in small town Saskatchewan in the Melfort/Tisdale area and has always enjoyed the connections and community that small-town life affords.

Dave and his wife Carla enjoy participating in the local Emmanuel Baptist church service clubs as well as other community initiatives. Together they have a 31year old son, daughter in law and two grandsons who are their pride and joy.

As a student, Dave spent time working for the Pioneer Grain Construction crew building elevators in southern Saskatchewan during his summers. After finishing school, Dave worked during the winter in the oil fields of Alberta and various construction jobs in the summer.

Once Dave met Carla, they purchased the Waldner family farm, becoming the fourth generation to operate the farm. Dave also spent 15 years in the Arctic Circle during the winter months working the ice roads, with six years spent as superintendent in order to help support the family farm. Dave and his son currently manage the farm as well as operate an independent construction company.

Dave believes more industries for farmers are needed in Saskatchewan to jump start the economy and create more jobs.

The people of Saskatchewan should have trust in the government they elect to represent them. Dave is an advocate for a fair and just government for all and strongly believes in maintaining a Saskatchewan first mentality. Dave is ready to serve as your next MLA for the Melfort area.
